Message From The Founder
Dear reader,
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the International Journal for Crime, Law and AI.
Our journal brings together insights from diverse disciplines—law, criminology, political science, and AI—to explore the current challenges of our digital age. This journal is aimed at university students and early-career professionals who face barriers to publishing due to a lack of formal qualifications, such as advanced degrees or prior publication experience.
Therefore, our mission is to encourage and give a platform for the leaders of tomorrow to get their articles published. We do not require any history of academic publications, or years of experience in the field - only a dedication to your university major that will show in your academic writing.
Why focus on Crime, Law, and AI? In an era where AI shapes both the commission and prevention of crimes, it is critical to examine its implications on privacy, accountability, and justice. From the biases in predictive policing algorithms to questions of ownership and responsibility for AI-generated content, these challenges have an imperative need for an interdisciplinary approach.
Those are only small examples of the vast field and challenges that are ahead of us. We want to become the go-to platform and journal for university students to begin their careers in policy, tech, law, or AI, on an international level. By contributing to this journal, aspiring professionals can gain early recognition, build their portfolios, and join a global conversation on some of the most urgent issues of our time.
We aspire to be the launchpad for tomorrow's leaders in policy, technology, and academia, fostering a global exchange of ideas and insights.
Welcome to the International Journal for Crime, Law, and AI.
